Uploading and sharing your material online introduces the risk of people stealing your images; not just the occasional share on Reddit and Twitter, but hosting it on their websites and refusing to remove the images when asked to do so. This is a shame because most of these images I have uploaded actually took a fair bit of money to obtain and time to process; usually auctions, sometimes license fees. Stealing greatly reduces my incentive to upload new material that so now and then is actually unique. So a small list.
1) The first common thief is Shaun Dench, Singleton, Australia, of the blog Destinations Journey (www.destinationsjourney.com). I asked him to remove my images twice without much success let alone courtesy. Apparently everything on the net is up for grabs.
